Well, we had the BEST Christmas break! We started our adventures in Naples, FL last week! Mallory had not seen our rental condo yet, and we wanted to make sure it was ready for our renters this winter.
Mimi and I found a chair that fit perfectly in the condo!
And of course, a "Christmas" tree!
This is the tree the kids want for our house! :) This is outside my mom's place!
We enjoyed staying at the condo, and the biggest bonus is it is a quick walk to Mimi's house!
Then, on Saturday, we took off on the Odyssey of the Seas for a cruise with my side of the family!
The ship was beautiful and decorated for Christmas!
The Arthur's from Indiana are always so fun to be around!
The boat had 15 floors and there were roughly 5,000 people on board!
The service and the food was amazing!!!
Our server for dinner, Roland, served up a 3 course meal each night!!!
Santa visited the ship!
I finished up reading the Bible in a year!!!
It was pretty amazing to just see out into the ocean each day!
Brady enjoyed all the perks of the teen club! He played basketball, surfed, and did the bumper cars! Our first stop was Curacao!
It reminded us of Europe, and was so cute!
We enjoyed a historic bus tour, and a stop at the liquer factory of Blue Curacao!
We finished our tour by ending at Mambo Beach, where we enjoyed some swimming!
Always looking for Starbucks mugs at the various locations......
Our next stop was ARUBA! This is partly why we picked this cruise, because of a place called Flamingo Beach! Mimi loves flamingoes, so we had to see them in real life! The only way to get to the beach was to book something with the Renaissance Hotel, so we booked massages!
We saw so much wildlife--crabs, iguanas, pelicans, and of course, flamingoes!
This is where my massage was--it was the most amazing massage EVER!
Parked next to our boat, was a scientology cruise ship, which provided us with much entertainment as we investigated what peeps were doing on board! :)
Our cruise ship has the North Star, which brings you up very high and out over the ocean to see the views!
Our room was small, but we did just fine by unpacking everything into all the drawers! The balcony was a major bonus too!
The kids LOVED meeting friends from all over! They were so sad to leave them!
This is where I drank my coffee each day--the back of the ship surrounded by windows!
I finished one book!!!
Our last stop was Haiti! A private part of Haiti owned by Royal Caribbean! It was gorgeous with the mountains!
We snorkeled in Haiti and the kids ziplined in the afternoon!
Our days at sea were filled with fun!
My nephew, Eli, participated in the belly flop contest, as well as the sexiest man alive contest! :) We LOVED our dinner staff!
The kids enjoyed karaoke!
So thankful for this trip!!! :) What a blessing!
